In response to her International Forest School tour, the Global Environmental Outdoor Education Council interviewed Kylie and featured her journey in the GEOEC Connection Journal of November 2022.

In early 2020, just before the pandemic hit, Kylie interviewed David Sobel as a part of her Comprehensive Research Project + Thesis for Antioch University.

In December of 2022, Old Growth Kids was featured on the Healthy Schools Podcast in a feature titled, Class Outside Everyday! with Kylie Gilbert.
